Kaylee and the Rainbow Magic Series.

Kaylee has really discovered reading the past few months. She has enjoyed books since she was an infant. But recently, she has discovered the Rainbow Magic series by Daisy Meadows. When we go to the library she used to chooses a bunch of the leveled readers. That has changed.

At Christmas, she got the American Girl box set that goes with her doll. That has moved her from the little kid book section to the bigger kid chapter books. The Rainbow Magic series was on the shelf along with the American Girl books. She discovered them and we checked out a few Rainbow Magic books. She's been hooked ever since. She can read a few a day. She has been reading where ever and when ever. I have had to go over to her room and ask her to put away her books because it is after midnight. I'm not complaining. My husband and I love to read and knew it was just a matter of time before Kaylee discovered the joys of reading too.
